A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I am Becky, the owner of Willows.
In my previous roles I worked with Children and young people in Schools, the NHS and as the Wellbeing Officer at Oxted School, Surrey before setting up 'Willows Walkies' in July 2021.
I have always had animals in my life. I grew up with many many Cats, German Shepherds and our childhood family rescue dogs.
Willows was named after our Chocolate Labrador who we sadly lost in August 2021, and we now live with our Sprocker Spaniel, a Border Terrier, 3 cats, gerbils, a chicken and a snake!

Dog Walking
Solo dog walking is when your dog is walked on a 1-1 basis getting undivided attention. This can be on or off lead. We build up to letting dogs off lead once a good rapport is established and recall is tested on a long line. Walks can be across fields, wooded areas or parks. If you have a reactive dog that needs a Solo walk just let me know and we can work round this. Solo walks work for a variety of reasons. This may be down to clients preference, day/time, availability or you may have a rescue/anxious dog. Paired walks are when a second dog is walked alongside your dog. This is particularly helpful if your dog needs more socialisation but is not quite ready for a group encounter.

Secure Field Walk
Dogs will be picked up and dropped home in our van that contains varying size crates to accommodate your dog. The van is driven into a Secure field, where the gates are closed and locked before the dogs are let out of the van.The field is a safe and secure area that is for the purpose of being able to walk dogs feeling confident that there are no gaps in fencing or other dogs other than the ones they arrived with. Distractions can be an issue on walks, but here the dogs have plenty of space to run freely without worry of chasing if they are prey driven. The fields used have agility areas and tunnels, with a constant supply of water. Dogs are grouped taking in to consideration their temperament and sociability with other dogs.

Pet Pop Ins
Home visits tend to last approximately 30-45 minutes. Pop ins can include Puppy and Senior visits where time is spent with the dog, cat or other furry friends. Feeding and cleaning out, topping up water and toilet breaks are all part of pet pop ins. Some dogs have medical issues preventing them from being able to be walked. Willows is happy to assist with puppy pads/ and or medication as required.Clients will receive updates with photos from walks and pop ins.
